Due to the economic hardship created by the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the Board of Commissioners of the Eastsound Sewer & Water District, at their regular meeting dated April 14, 2020, agreed and approved to defer the implementation of the rate increase until January 1, 2021. Your monthly sewer service charges will remain the same for the rest of the year, 2020. However, the Board of Commissioners recognizes that by delaying the implementation of the rate increase, it may be necessary to raise rates higher than the previously approved amount.
